This class is for beginner and intermediate photographers who want to understand how to properly light when shooting beauty, headshots, and portraits. 

Course topics include:  

• Planning a shoot

• Studio lights and modifiers - how they work and when to use them

• Selecting the right camera settings

• Soft light vs hard light

• Live model shoot

This class will be a hands-on class; all students will be shooting and interacting with a model. Students should bring a camera and lens. You are free to bring your laptop to take notes but notepads and pens will be provided. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
